Originally from the Comox Valley, British Columbia, I have lived in Vancouver, Victoria, Edinburgh, and now Calgary.
My interests are pretty broad, and my fascination with Scotland and history brought me to that country for two years. Now I am starting to settle back into my life in Canada, I plan to indulge some of my other passions. Like many of my generation, I believe my actions to keep my environmental footprint small are essential for the future of us all. I’ve also developed an interest in transit and urban design. Politics and world events are usually on my radar and though I don’t consider myself particularly partisan I enjoy following the political drama. For sports, I’m a hockey goalie, first baseman, and also an adventurous hiker. I like horror movies, science fiction, and crime thrillers.
